We value the partnership with secondary school guidance counsellors throughout the application process. We rely on school counselling staff in all jurisdictions to reinforce the university’s application requirements and deadlines and to highlight our admission requirements.
For Ontario counsellors, the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) has produced its schedule of dates and other important information for the 2011-2012 application cycle.
We ask school counsellors in other jurisdictions to encourage students to apply by our deadlines:

Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies
The undergraduate program in Architectural Studies at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design provides a broad, design-based lens through which to study the arts and humanities, and a deep foundation in all the disciplines related to architecture and urbanism. The program has two areas: Architectural Design and History, Theory and Criticism

Forensic Science at U of T Mississauga Returns
After a brief hiatus, Forensic Science returns to U of T Mississauga with Dr. Tracy Rogers, famed Canadian Forensic Anthropologist as Director of the program. Students will be able to choose Forensic Science on OUAC starting this fall. Once in the program, students can choose from specialist programs such as Forensic Anthropology/Biology/Chemistry/Psychology or the major in Forensic Science and combine it with another approved subject area.

Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology
The Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education has added a new degree program option for students — a new Bachelor of Kinesiology. Students entering the Faculty will have the option to choose between the BPHE and the BKin after their second year in the general Physical Education & Health program. The BKin program will be excellent preparation for those interested in working in the health science field while the BPHE program will draw students interested in pursuing careers in education, coaching, marketing or sport administration.

Interactive Digital Media — This program provides students with a foundation in the generation, diffusion and critical analysis of the social impact of new and emerging technologies.
U of T Scarborough
Co-op Management & International Business -- This program was designed to create global-minded employees with a breadth of cultural experience and understanding.
Literature & Film Studies — This minor program allows students to study cinema both as a specific art form with its own history and “language” and as a medium that emerges in the broader context of literary and
other cultural production.
Media Studies – This minor provides students with theoretical tools to aid understanding of the history and growth of media, how various media industries manufacture and manage information, and what the increasing predominance of visually communicated information means for contemporary society and understandings of the self.
